- Tero Föhr received a silver medal in the middle distance competition at the 2007 World Orienteering Championship in Kiev. He also participated on behalf of Finland at the same race and helped his country bring home a bronze medal in the championship relay. In 2008, he won the long distance World Cup race at Siggerud, Norway and the next year, went on to win the sprint and relay race in the Finnish National Championships.
