Founded in 1912, Santos FC is one of Brazil’s most successful soccer teams. With eight championships to date, Santos FC holds more National Cup titles than any other soccer club in Brazil. In 1998, Santos FC became the first team in history to score more than 10,000 goals. The club also has the distinction of molding one of the world’s best players, soccer legend Pelé.
