Duathlete Monica Torres is a member of the Philippine National Duathlon Team since 2006. In 2008, Monica won 5th place in the overall Asian Duathlon Championship in Thailand. She was also the champion in the Saab City Duathlon in Singapore, and won 1st place overall in the White Rock Long Distance Triathlon in Zambales.
