- Power forward Hanno Möttölä was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in 2000, earning the distinction of being the first Finnish player to compete in the NBA. Hanno retired from basketball in 2008 but returned to the game in his home country, where he now plays for Torpan Pojat.
