Anca Bucur



Anca Bucur (born July 20, 1987) is a world-class Romanian fitness competitor and trainer. Anca started practicing ballet at the age of 3 in her home town, Targu Mures. At the age of 7, Anca left home to train for artistic gymnastics at the National Olympic Center Deva. After a few years she switched to aerobic gymnastics and competed on the Romanian National junior team in 2004. By 2005 Anca was selected for the National senior team, but broke her right shoulder before the European championships and decided to retire. At the end of 2006 she began working as a fitness and aerobics instructor while competing in the top international fitness contests such as Miss Fitness Universe and Miss World Fitness. In June 2013 Anca was named Miss Fitness Universe 1st place. Anca holds over ten professional diplomas or certificates in a variety of disciplines such as cycling, strength, yoga, gymnastics, boxing and swimming.
